I've been coming to La Hacienda since I was a little girl when it was over across from the stop light. I've always loved it and it's had a special place in my heart. With the new ownership I love that they've kept a lot of the same menu items the same like their famous salsa and taco's. But I have to say that the new chips & bean dip are fire! They had a special tonight quesabirria and it's was incredible!!! We followed it up with on the house fried ice cream (it was my hubby's birthday) and it was out of this world!
We were on a road trip and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Service: Excellent. Our server, Myrna, and her helper did a fantastic job and were warm and welcoming super. They got warm, crisp chips with salsa and beans as soon as we sat. They refilled our chips multiple times. Ambiance: Simple and clean. Clean restrooms. Food: Our food and plates cane in hot and in no time. My son loved his Machaca Con Huevos and asada taco. My husband is vegetarian and he had a veggie burrito. It was big and they made it spicy on our request. My grilled chicken burrito had enough chicken.
New owners first of all. Second of all, the food was fantastic! Their nachos will be my last meal if I ever find myself on death row . We had the pleasure of having Cassandra as our server. She was delightful and efficient.

Good food and service. This locally owned restaurant is owned and operated by a really friendly family and if you ask nicely they might even sing for you.
Food was fresh and HOT! Downside is that they charge you $3.50 for chips and salsa as you wait. Service was good, it just took a long time to get the food out. Good thing we paid for the chips and salsa or else we would have been very hangry. The restaurant was clean, and the only irritation was the 2 two men on their phones on speaker phone the whole time talking loudly so everyone could be part of "It's all about me!!"
I arrived a few minutes after they opened (11:00), so seating wasn't a problem (lol). I ordered a bean and guacamole tapatia. It was delicious! I ate it all!! The waitress was great! Price is typical of the times... $12. I don't live in the area, but if I visit again- I would return here. The bathroom was clean, but had no TP; luckily I spotted a roll on a shelf.... Situation averted!
